David A. McElroy – David is a playwright, actor, and director. His plays have been produced throughout the U.S. He has presented “Jack Kerouac – End of the Road,” written with Steve A. Rowell, several times in Florida and Massachusetts, since 2002. He has written and presented 4 other one-man shows, including the upcoming 26th year of his A One Man “A Christmas Carol,” where he portrays ALL 37 characters. He also has written and performed “Oscar Wilde’s DeProfundis,” “The Dream of Charles Hosmer Morse” and “The Waterhouse Ghost.” His play “Isadora Duncan: A Life” was performed at Caldwell Theatre, Boca Raton, Gorilla Theatre, Tampa, and Disney Institute, Orlando, and by Blue Winds Theatre, Minneapolis, MN. David appeared as Dicky in “A Time to Go Walking,” at the Dangerous Theatre in Sanford. He portrayed a frazzled professor in the short film “Clown College.” He played Supreme Court Judge Robert Jackson in a PBS docudrama “The Groveland Four.” He is featured in four short films “Remember Paris,” “Hunter,” “Pictorem” (Best Actor Award), and “The Peacemaker.” He is a member of the Dramatist Guild and New Play Exchange. David is the Co-Founder of Southern Winds Theatre and Co-Founder of Playwrights’ Round Table, Orlando.

Marylin McGinnis is an actor, director, and producer. Her acting credits include: “Last Roundup of the Guacamole Queens” for Ice House Theatre, “The Children” for Southern Winds Theatre,  “See Rock City,” Mad Cow Theatre, for Orlando Shakes Playfest production “Last Ship to Proxima Centauri,” and 6 other Playfest productions.  Recurring roles include Frances Ternan in Southern Winds Theatre’s “Dickens Holiday Memories”. Marylin has also been seen at Garden Theatre in “Flashdance -The Musical.”   She also played Kate in the touching play “A Time to Go Walking.” at Dangerous Theatre as well as touring productions.   She’s played Mrs. Eynsford-Hill in “Pygmalion” & Kitty in “The Royal Family” also at Mad Cow Theatre. Performing 3 roles in the Central FL premiere of “Women Playing Hamlet” was great fun.   Other plays include “A Tuna Christmas,” twice, playing 12 Roles.  Leads at Gorilla Theatre in Tampa include the World Premiere of “Isadora Duncan: A Life,” “Snakebit” and the Young People’s Play Festival.  She’s recently been featured in the short film Remember Paris, as the Mother of Ailene Wournos in the film Monster, Secret Files of Shelby Woo, America’s Most Wanted, and several soap operas, Industrials, and commercials. She is the Co-Founder of Southern Winds Theatre and Playwrights’ Round Table.

Caitlin McElroy as Outreach and Administrative Manager, conducts outreach for various productions at Southern Winds Theatre, resulting in shows that run smoothly and the volunteer’s various duties are organized.
