Marylin McGinnis

Marylin has acted and directed in 6 Christmas productions at Seminole State College, including 12 roles in A TUNA CHRISTMAS. She has performed numerous leads at The Gorilla Theatre in Tampa including the title role in “Isadora Duncan, A Life,” “Snakebit,” & The Young Playwrights Festival.  “Isadora Duncan, A Life” also played at the Caldwell Theatre & Disney Institute Performance Center. A favorite role is Dorothy in the 1+ yr. run of the cabaret “Respect.” Other fun roles were in “Ladies’ Night Out,” & “An Evening of Lost Songs I and II, at Disney Institute Performance Center and Orlando Fringe Festival. Regional Theatre includes: “The Elephant Man,” “Agnes of God,” “The Dresser,” “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolfe,” & “Later Life.”  Marylin is a national voice-over talent & has also been featured in the film “Monster,” “The Secret Files of Shelby Woo.” “America’s Most Wanted,” among others.  She’s directed and acted in several full productions for Orlando Shakespeare’s “Playfest”, as well as directed 5 One-Man shows that have run for over 15 years.  Marylin has also created, edited & produced several new works and is a Co-Founder of Southern Winds Theatre, and Playwrights’ Round Table.”
